Cell Phones and Privacy
I believe that prepaid phones are necessary in society in the way that some people cannot afford a monthly or yearly cell phone plan and need it for communicating with others. Also, in times of emergencies, the prepaid phones can come in handy. But if real cell phones are being tracking, I believe that prepaid phones should be as well. After purchase, the phone should be activated and it can be tracked from there on until it is thrown away with a warning on the box letting the customer know that the phone will be tracked while they are using it.
Location Tracking
I agree that children and seniors in need of tracking should be tracked, but I do not believe it should be through an ID chip implanted in them. I believe it should be through an article of jewelry or an article of clothing. Having an ID chip implanted in somebody is not only painful, but it may not be safe to the health of these children and seniors. If it is proven safe, then I believe that it should be installed to children and seniors who agree to it.
